Margarita Maldonado, 30, of Enola, was told by the woman that she would have to wait 20 minutes for a ride back to her home in Enola moments before she yelled and attacked the woman in the 300 block of West Broad Street in Williamstown, Dauphin County around 3:40 p.m. Feb. 26, PennLive reports citing the affidavit.

Maldonado allegedly punched the woman in the face and stomach, the outlet reports. When the pregnant woman’s mom arrived Maldonado broke her glasses, kicked her, and beat her with her cane, the report cites from the affidavit.

The pregnant woman was taken to the hospital with stomach pains and cramping, the affidavit said according to the outlet.

Just a few weeks before, Maldonado supposedly was COVID-19 positive when she attacked a staff member woman at the Danville State Hospital in Montour County, reports Northcentral PA.

In that case, a hospital staff member attempted to break up a fight between Maldonado and someone – when Maldonado grabbed the staff member’s hair, spit on her, bit her on the arm, finally pushed her to the ground – on Jan. 31, the outlet reports citing the arrest affidavit.

In both cases, Pennsylvania state police were called and filed criminal complaints according to the outlets.

Maldonado is a part-time teaching assistant in the Lebanon school district according to social media.

For the assault at the hospital she was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, and harassment, court records show. Her preliminary hearing, in this case, has been scheduled before Magisterial District Judge David O'Leary on Apr. 5 at 1 p.m.

Regarding the incident of the pregnant woman and her mom being beaten, she was charged with aggravated assault of an unborn child, two counts of simple assault, terroristic threats, two counts of harassment, and criminal mischief, according to additional court records. Her preliminary hearing has been scheduled with Magisterial District Court Judge Rebecca Jo Margerum on Mar. 14 at 9:45 a.m.

Maldonado has been held in Dauphin County Prison on $350,000 bail, $300,000 for punching the pregnant woman, and $50,000 for attacking the hospital staff, prison records show.
